- [Decorative Painters of Western Nassau] is a Long Island Chapter of the Society of Decorative Painters. We hold monthly meetings usually at the Baldwin Rec Center, Baldwin NY, generally the 4th Monday evening of each month at 7 pm. We have monthly a painting project which involves something related to decorative painting, generally in acrylic but we have also had watercolor, oil, fabric painting, origami and even knitting. We have all day painting workshops on certain Saturdays which, as our meetings, are open to all.
